Redeemer Kids

Here at Redeemer we want to assist parents in the work they are already called to do at home (Deut. 6:5-7). We believe children are gifts from God and an important part of our community, and it's our desire to make church a nurturing, enlightening, and fun place for your children. Children are certainly welcome to sit with their parents in the sanctuary. We also provide these options for families.

Nursery (Birth - Age 2)

Redeemer provides childcare during the worship service for children ranging from birth through age two. During this time your children will be well taken care of by gentle workers who will rock, change, play with, and pray for your babies. You can head downstairs before the service to sign in your children and then sign them out when you pick them up afterwards. If you leave your cellphone on vibrate during the service, the workers can contact you in case of an urgent need.

Children (Ages 3 - 5)

Children from ages 3-5 have fun learning the basic storyline of the Bible, singing songs, doing crafts,  having a snack, and playing games. Our curriculum this year is He Established a Testimony: Old Testament Stories for Young Children, published by Children Desiring God. You can head downstairs before the service to sign in your children and then sign them out when you pick them up after the service. If you leave your cellphone on vibrate during the service, the workers can contact you in case of an urgent need.

Children (K - 5th Grade)

One way to come alongside families in the equipping of our children to understand the gospel, learn basic Christian theology, and how to read their Bibles, is in a new class we have launched this year. Children in grades K - 5 start the service upstairs with their parents, sing some songs, and then are escorted upstairs by two friendly teachers where they will go through a Bible study on the promises of God in an interactive environment.  This year's curriculum is The ABC's of God: A Study for Children on the Greatness and Worth of God, published by Children Desiring God.  They will also learn catechism questions and take home worksheets to continue their study throughout the week with their parents.

Mother-Infant Room

To serve mothers who would like to step out of the sanctuary with a noisy or nursing child, we provide a room just outside of the back of the sanctuary. With its comfortable seating and sound system, you won't even miss the worship service. Dads, thank you for respecting this as a space for moms only.

Please feel free to call 617-923-1968 or email us at office@redeemerfellowshipchurch.org if you have any further questions.
